An outstanding singer, who insists to do everything herself – often in a very individual way.
Nina Sveistrup Clausen experiments and improvises like no one else in the opera world. Last year, the National Art Council recognised her "atmospheric songuniverse" in the dystopic work Støv (in English: Dust), and as a composer she is choosing groundbreakingly new paths by writing and performing a mixture of chamber music and heavy metal. Her COF-Vocal performance will thus include both new and over 200 years old groovy music, which somehow seem to compliment each other. Among them are also some of her own compositions, and you'll even be able to enjoy Nina working her ways around a so called loopstation.
