Upbeat conservatory students present immortal, yet different song cycle about young and impossible love.
Young man meets young woman. One falls in love with the other, who sadly already is in love with someone else. A play about being deadly in love – and a balancing act between a concert and theatre. The three cast members sing, play and accompany themselves and each other, so expect everything else but the traditional Schubert song cycle.
The musical arrangement of the piece has been developed by the castmember and the director. What does a Schubert lied sound like, when it is played on carillon, guitar, or crystal glasses? This and much more will be revealed in this retelling which is presented by a similarly new company, Recomposed Projects, featuring students from The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
