An examination of intrinsic loneliness, a tribute to the American opera tradition.
Late one evening in a bar somewhere in town: three lonely characters search for eachothers company, get into conversation with each other, reflect eachvother, and find words and notes for the loneliness and the up-and-down of the journey called existence. Lonely House is a Danish tribute to the American opera tradition, which flirts with both pop and musicals. The piece is a collage of arias and songs from the 1930's and onwards until the millennial. It was extremely well received at its premiere last year.
