Party, drama and high notes! The young ensemble from SØHOLM takes on a bubbly Tour d'Nørrebro in the party bus "Pagliacci 'n Party".

The unusual party bus 'Pagliacci´n Party' is trying to recruit passengers for a rolling tour of Nørrebro. To their luck, a group of loud young people board the bus and immediately put on the pranks. The young passengers are in fact part of the singing comedy troupe from the opera Pagliacci - all with a great penchant for party, drama and high tones.

Singing through the streets of Nørrebro, the bus stops three times in well-known Nørrebro squares and corners, where emotions and music are given free rein. Here, short musical pop-ups are performed, which are mixed together in a colorful cocktail of arias and excerpts from classical operas. It all culminates in a champagne-bubbling finale when the bus hits the terminus at Den Røde Plads.

The pop-up concerts have been developed as part of Søholm Opera's summer performance 'Pagliacci' in collaboration with Copenhagen Opera Festival. The soloists in the Pop-up concerts consist of 9 young singers, accompanied by accordionist Frode Andersen, who is also part of the ensemble in the 'Pagliacci' performance, which is performed on the Festival stage august 21st at 19.30.
