Beautiful arias and emerging talent come together in powerful union in this masterclass concert on the Festival Stage, where our handpicked young artists, led by soprano Marie Arnet present the fruits of their labour from three days of Vocal Masterclass.

During the festival, the Swedish-Norwegian virtuoso mentors six young singers, each with their own unique expression. Marie Arnet has performed in concert halls and festivals all over the world - from Glyndebourne in England to Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Japan - but on this evening in August she will be at Den Røde Plads at Nørrebro, where she and her entire masterclass team will treat the Copenhagen audience to a wide selection of heart-wrenching arias.

It will be an immense pleasure to present countertenor Steffen Jespersen – a former Masterclass singer – with the title of Opera Talent of the Year, awarded by the Copenhagen Opera Festival. He joins the varied program, assisted by pianist Christian Sereno, and will send both the masterclass soloists and the audience home with a true operatic buzz.
