There will be stardust in the pews and enchanting arias in the air when soprano Sofie Lund gives a concert in Christians Kirke. This year's Opera Talent of the Year will demonstrate her sure grasp of, among other things, the high-flying singing technique of the 18th century with gems from the German and Italian opera treasure.

Sofie Lund has long since taken off. The 30-year-old soprano is part of the ensemble at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern in Germany, where she has sung the major role of Pamina in 'The Magic Flute'. During this year's Copenhagen Opera Festival, you can experience the shooting star up close when she hosts her own concert as Opera Talent of the Year in the atmospheric Christians Kirke.

Sofie Lund will present a repertoire that ranges from classical to modern, showcasing the range of her impressive lyric soprano, a flexible voice type with the highest pitch. Hear the great talent switch effortlessly between endearing warm tones and the highest trills as she interprets the beloved aria 'Ach, ich fühl's' from 'The Magic Flute', works from the Italian Bel Canto tradition and a special selection of lieder.

Lund will be joined on stage by sought-after pianist Ulrich Stærk, among others.
