‘Aske, the Princess and the White Horse' is a puppet opera for 4-8 year olds, about a boy, a girl and a missing shoe! Mezzo-soprano Ingeborg Fangel Mo creates a universe where music tells the stories in perfect harmony with words and action.

The quirky two-dimensional dolls tell a story of loneliness and friendship, of being overlooked and being seen. The quiet Aske and the strong-willed princess Primula are two very different children, and they don't know each other, yet, they have much in common.

The performance mixes music from Rossini's classical opera 'Cinderella' with newly written compositions, and the musicians improvise with folk songs along the way. You can experience an adventurous world full of sounds, rhythms and melodies, because who says you can't play music on a bucket or an old saw?
