Before the concert, the six hand-picked soloists will be taught and mentored by Nicky Spence and absorb knowledge from the Scottish master tenor. They will dive into their work with a single selected aria under professional guidance from our Guest Artist of the Year, who will give them the opportunity to further improve and develop.

This will culminate in the Masterclass Concert on the Festival Stage, where the singers and Nicky Spence, with a varied programme accompanied by pianist Dylan Perez, will perform the result of their hard work - and at the same time close the Festival Stage with a bang!

FREDERIKKE KAMPMANN RECEIVES MUSIKANMELDERRINGENS KUNSTNERPRIS

Extraordinarily soprano, Frederikke Kampmann will also visit the concert when she receives the Danish Music Critics' Artist Award. The prize will be presented by the chairman of the Danish Music Critics, Politiken's music editor for classical music, opera and jazz, Thomas Michelsen, in connection with the master class concert, where we will also have the opportunity to hear Kampmann's beautiful voice.
