Open call for singers

We are busy preparing Copenhagen Opera Festival 2025, and as always we are looking for fantastic singers for our many formats and productions. That is why we are announcing an open call aimed at singing students and professionals.

Our auditions will take place on Thursday 28th of November from 10.00-17.00 and Friday the 29th of November from 10.00-14.00 in Copenhagen, where Danish and international opera companies / festivals and a few agencies also are invited to sit in.

Are you a singer - and do you want to attend?

Send an email before Wednesday 6th of November at 12.00 to Frederik Støvring Olsen at audition@operafestival.dk with a PDF of your CV and please attach audio/video if you have. In the email we also want to know
– your voice type
– if you are a singing student and where you study
– confirm that you are available both days or not

On 13th of November, you will be notified whether you have been given an audition time on one of the two audition dates. Notice: Unfortunately our capacity is limited and you do not have an audition slot before you receive a confirmation from us.

Copenhagen Opera Festival will take place on 15-24 August 2025.
