In  'Opera’ – The Opera!, the Smallest of the Smallest Opera Houses is facing financial ruin. The boss is offered the job of a lifetime at The Grandest of All Grand Opera Houses, on the condition that she can produce a hit show starring the once famous but now ageing and infamous La Diva. 

Despite the lack of time and money, she demands something spectacular and is forced to hire a retired world-famous tenor turned director, designer and conductor to stage the show. After weeks of preparation and obstacles, the opening night looms and La Diva arrives. Everyone waits with bated breath: will the show be a grave disaster or a resounding success?

'Opera’ – The Opera! is created by director Natasha Metherell and Søholm Opera and will seduce with a wonderfully captivating mix of popular melodies and an original story. The magnificent Ensemble Storstrøm will be conducted by the award-winning Anne Marie Granau. Amazing soloists soprano Frederikke Kampmann, baritone Leif Jone Ølberg and tenor Michael Bracegirdle, among others, will shine from the stage.
